New Trailer for Criminal Record on Apple TV+
The trailer for “Criminal Record,” a new eight-episode, one-hour crime thriller starring Academy Award winner Peter Capaldi and Critics Choice Award contender Cush Jumbo as investigators in a tug of war over a historic murder conviction, was released today by Apple TV+. “Criminal Record” will make its global debut on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, with the first two episodes, followed by additional episodes every Wednesday until February 21.
“Criminal Record” is a gripping, character-driven thriller set in the heart of contemporary London from BAFTA Award candidate Paul Rutman (“Vera”, “Indian Summers”). An anonymous phone call pits two great investigators – one a young lady in the early stages of her career, the other a well-connected guy determined to defend his reputation – against each other over an old murder case.

Elaine Collins (“Shetland,” “Vera”), BAFTA Scotland Award winner, executive produces alongside Rutman, Capaldi, and Jumbo. The series is directed by BAFTA Award winner Jim Loach (“Save Me Too,” “Oranges and Sunshine”). Tod Productions and STV Studios created “Criminal Record” for Apple TV+, which was shot in London.
