New Teaser Unveiled: Dexter: Original Sin Prequel Set to Premiere December 13
Paramount+ with SHOWTIME® has just dropped an electrifying new teaser and revealed the premiere date for Dexter: Original Sin, the highly anticipated prequel to the acclaimed series. Set your calendars—this dark new chapter arrives on streaming and on demand Friday, December 13 for Paramount+ subscribers with the SHOWTIME® plan, before its on-air debut on Sunday, December 15. International viewers can catch it on Paramount+ starting December 13.
Currently filming in Los Angeles, Dexter: Original Sin takes us back to 1991 Miami, following a young Dexter (Patrick Gibson) as he evolves from troubled student to the meticulous avenger we’ve come to know. Struggling to control his bloodlust, Dexter is guided by his father, Harry (Christian Slater), and the infamous “Code” that will shape his deadly future. But balancing his dark impulses with a forensics internship at Miami Metro Police Department will prove to be the ultimate test.
The series boasts a stellar cast, including Patrick Dempsey, Molly Brown, James Martinez, Christina Milian, and a special guest appearance by Sarah Michelle Gellar. Michael C. Hall also returns to voice the iconic inner monologue of Dexter Morgan, keeping fans tethered to the mind of America’s favorite serial killer.
Executive produced by Clyde Phillips and featuring a powerhouse production team, Dexter: Original Sin is shaping up to be an essential watch for both die-hard fans and newcomers alike.
