  • September 25, 2024

Apple’s first German-language series, Where’s Wanda?, is set to premiere on October 2, 2024, with its first two episodes debuting on Apple TV+. The show, a dark comedy, follows Dedo and Carlotta Klatt (played by Axel Stein and Heike Makatsch), who are desperately searching for their missing 17-year-old daughter, Wanda. When the police fail to make progress, the Klatts take matters into their own hands. With the help of their tech-savvy son Ole (Leo Simon), they secretly bug their neighbors, uncovering shocking secrets behind seemingly normal suburban facades.

The series promises a mix of humor, suspense, and unexpected twists, revealing that no one in their neighborhood is as they seem. Directed by Christian Ditter and produced by UFA Fiction, the show will air weekly, concluding on November 13, 2024. Viewers can expect a unique blend of family drama, tech-fueled investigation, and dark humor in this eight-episode series.
