CBS Orders Full Season of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Following Impressive Debut
CBS has officially announced a full season order for its new comedy Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, starring Montana Jordan and Emily Osment. The series, created and executive produced by Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro, and Steve Holland, continues the legacy of The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon, bringing fans a fresh perspective on beloved characters within this universe.
The decision to extend the show follows its strong debut, which attracted 10.6 million multiplatform viewers in its first week, outperforming the Young Sheldon final season premiere. Streaming on Paramount+ and CBS TVE (CBS.com and CBS App) is also up by 72% compared to Young Sheldon‘s last season debut, reflecting enthusiastic audience support.

The series follows Georgie (Jordan) and Mandy (Osment) as they raise their young family in Texas while facing the ups and downs of marriage, parenting, and adulthood. The cast also includes Rachel Bay Jones, Will Sasso, Dougie Baldwin, and Jessie Prez.
