The streets of Harlem are set to run red once again. MGM+ has just unleashed the thrilling trailer and key art for Godfather of Harlem Season 4, premiering April 13, 2025 on both the linear and streaming platform. Led by Academy Award® winner Forest Whitaker as the formidable Bumpy Johnson, the critically acclaimed crime drama returns with more power struggles, betrayals, and high-stakes showdowns.
Created by Chris Brancato (Narcos, Hotel Cocaine), the upcoming season finds Bumpy locked in a brutal war against New York’s Mafia families, all while facing the rise of a dangerous new player—Frank Lucas, portrayed by Rome Flynn, an Emmy®-winning actor and former NBA Celebrity All-Star MVP. As tensions mount, Bumpy must also confront an internal battle: his daughter Elise’s (Antoinette Crowe-Legacy) deepening ties to the Black Panthers, following the devastating assassination of Malcolm X (Jason Alan Carvell).
Returning for Season 4 are Ilfenesh Hadera, Lucy Fry, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, Erik LaRay Harvey, Michael Raymond James, Elvis Nolasco, and Erik Palladino, ensuring another gripping chapter of Harlem’s underworld saga.
