Hulu has revealed a first look at the upcoming Original series “The Other Black Girl,” from Onyx Collective.

The series will premiere all 10 episodes on September 13, only on Hulu. 

The Other Black Girl is an adaptation of the best-selling novel written by Zakiya Dalila Harris, and it was executive produced by Rashida Jones, Adam Fishbach, Zakiya Dalila Harris, Jordan Reddout, Gus Hickey, Tara Duncan, and Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of Temple Hill. Additionally, co-showrunning duties are shared by Jordan Reddout and Gus Hickey.

Nella, an editorial assistant at the company, is sick of being the only Black girl working there, so she is thrilled when Hazel is hired. Hazel is also black. However, as Hazel’s star begins to rise, Nella begins to spin out of control and realizes that the corporation is engaged in some sort of nefarious activity.
