The highly anticipated original series LAWMEN: BASS REEVES has received first-look photos and a teaser from Paramount+. The anthology series, which premieres this fall in the United States and all Paramount+ international markets, stars executive producer and Emmy Award nominee David Oyelowo, Lauren E. Banks, Demi Singleton, Forrest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, Honorary Oscar recipient Donald Sutherland, and Emmy Award nominee Dennis Quaid. The eight-episode season, executive produced by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan and conceived for television by executive producer and showrunner Chad Feehan, is produced exclusively for Paramount+ by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions, and Oyelowo’s Yoruba Saxon.

LAWMEN: BASS REEVES brings to life the renowned lawmen and criminals of the Wild West. Reeves (Oyelowo), known as the greatest frontier hero in American history, worked as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory after Reconstruction, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous outlaws without ever being wounded. LAWMEN: BASS REEVES is an anthology series with future installments following other great lawmen and outlaws from history.

Guest stars include Shea Whigham and Garrett Hedlund, as well as Joaquina Kalukango, Lonnie Chavis, Grantham Coleman, Tosin Morohunfola, Dale Dickey, Rob Morgan, Ryan O’Nan, Margot Bingham Mo Brings Plenty, Justin Hurtt-Dunkley, and Bill Dawes in recurring roles.

The series is executive produced by David C. Glasser, Jessica Oyelowo, David Permut, Christina Alexandra Voros, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and David Hutkin, in addition to Sheridan, Feehan, and Oyelowo.
