Birdman & Friends Presents 30 Years of Cash Money Millionaires starts off the performance line-up announcement at the Caesar’s Superdome, commemorating their musical roots in New Orleans.

What’s going on?

The festival has grown and transformed since its inception in 1994, now offering a wide range of daytime experiences at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for attendees to enjoy! This year, fans can look forward to the comeback of beloved festivals like the ESSENCE Food & Wine Festival™, BEAUTYCON™: @ESSENCEFEST Edition, AFROPUNK BLKTOPIA™, ESSENCE Film Festival® by ESSENCE STUDIOS™, ESSENCE Stage™, SOKO MRKT™ by ESSENCE®, ESSENCE Authors™, ESSENCE® GU® CREATORS HOUSE, GBEF® HQ, and more. The Suede: Men’s Experience™ (formerly known as In His Zone), aims to create a space that celebrates the Black man and fosters a sense of enjoyment, liberation, and camaraderie in a friendly environment. Our focus will be on engaging discussions about various subjects including money, fatherhood, creativity, health, travel, fashion, and sports. This year’s 2024 ESSENCE Festival of Culture™, presented by Coca-Cola®, will feature exciting new additions to enhance the overall experience. One of these additions is the ESSENCE Hollywood House™, a dedicated space designed to foster networking, mentorship, skill development, and amplify the presence of Black individuals in the entertainment industry.

The ESSENCE Festival of Culture™ presented by Coca-Cola® celebrates the rich musical heritage of the city and honors the cultural bearers whose creativity has been a source of inspiration for many generations. From the very beginning, the local community has been at the core of this event, bringing the vibrant essence of New Orleans to life. From the musical legends deeply connected to the city’s soul to the artisans, chefs, and cultural guardians who bring our culture to life, Recently announced: The ESSENCE Festival of Culture™ presented by Coca-Cola® is proud to contribute $30,000 to the New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund Grant Program. This contribution reflects our commitment to preserving the vibrant culture of the city and supporting local initiatives.
