Disney+ released a collection of photos from the screening event held in London for Lucasfilm’s highly anticipated Star Wars series “The Acolyte.” The live-action series premiered with the first two episodes, and was graced by the presence of talented stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, and Rebecca Henderson. The event was also attended by the beloved Wookiee Kelnacca. Leslye Headland, the creator, showrunner, and executive producer, along with producer Rayne Roberts, were also present for the screening.

The exciting, suspenseful live-action series premieres on Tuesday, June 4, with the first two episodes, exclusively on Disney+.

The series features an impressive cast including Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

The series was created by Leslye Headland, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King, and Jason Micallef. It is based on Star Wars by George Lucas. Charmaine DeGraté and Kor Adana serve as the co-executive producers. Rayne Roberts, Damian Anderson, Eileen Shim, and Rob Bredow are the producers.

Headland was also in charge of directing the premiere episodes (Eps. 101 & 102). Kogonada, Alex Garcia Lopez, and Hanelle Culpepper complete the directing duties on the series.

Michael Abels, a highly acclaimed composer, has lent his talents to scoring “The Acolyte,” adding to his impressive body of work that includes “Get Out” and “Us.”
