The Chaos Is Back: First Look at Twisted Metal Season 2
John Doe’s back in the driver’s seat—and this time, the road is even bloodier.
Hold onto your clown masks and rev up your engines—Peacock’s twisted thrill ride returns July 31 with Twisted Metal Season 2, and it’s more explosive, unhinged, and gloriously gory than ever. From flaming ice cream trucks to wish-granting death matches, the mayhem is dialed to eleven.
After the explosive showdown that closed out Season 1, John Doe (Anthony Mackie) and Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) step into Calypso’s deadly arena: a no-holds-barred demolition derby where drivers risk everything for a single shot at having their greatest wish granted. But they’re not alone—sixteen other contestants have dreams of their own, and not all of them play fair. Or sane.

Executive Producer and Showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith promises “a fast-paced, hysterical, thrilling season with unforgettable characters.” That includes the return of fan-favorite psychopath Sweet Tooth (Will Arnett & Joe Seanoa) and the chilling debut of Anthony Carrigan (Barry) as Calypso, the enigmatic and sinister host of the tournament.
But behind the fiery wrecks and twisted metal lies something more: heart. John’s reunion with his long-lost sister, the vengeful vigilante Dollface, threatens to complicate everything—not to mention his fragile bond with Quiet.

More Blood. Bigger Stakes. Badder Clowns.
Season 2 brings a whole new flavor of carnage, where alliances are fleeting, backstabbing is expected, and no one is safe—not even the audience’s favorites. Every character has something to lose. And some… have nothing left but chaos to give.
Buckle up. The tournament begins July 31.
Only on Peacock.
