The epic battle rages on! The Monsterverse from Legendary Pictures continues with a new thrilling adventure where Kong and Godzilla face a massive unknown threat, putting their existence and ours at stake. “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” explores the histories of the Titans and their origins, delving into the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond. The story uncovers the epic battle that shaped these extraordinary beings and their connection to humankind.

Director Adam Wingard is back in charge once more. The movie features a talented cast including Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen.

The screenplay was written by Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett, and Jeremy Slater, based on a story by Rossio, Wingard, and Barrett, inspired by the character “Godzilla” owned and created by TOHO Co., Ltd. The movie is produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric Mcleod, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, and Brian Rogers. The list of executive producers includes Wingard, Jen Conroy, Jay Ashenfelter, Yoshimitsu Banno, and Kenji Okuhira.

Wingard is teaming up with director of photography Ben Seresin, production designer Tom Hammock, editor Josh Schaeffer, and costume designer Emily Seresin for this project. The composers are Tom Holkenborg (“Godzilla vs. Kong,” “Mad Max: Fury Road”) and Antonio Di Iorio (additional music on “Godzilla vs. Kong,” the “Sonic the Hedgehog” films).
